At Elk River Senior Living, we recognize the critical role that family members and external caregivers play in caring for and supporting our residents. In order to contain the spread of COVID-19 and keep the community safe and as close to residents and their families as possible, it is vital that we follow safety protocols and social dissociation guidelines. As the number of infections continues to rise throughout the country and the state of Minnesota, we expect this case to directly affect our community in the immediate future. Employees should not interact with residents who appear symptomatic, even if they are provided with food, water, medicine or other necessary medical supplies.
Elk River is also served by two full-time teachers who currently teach kindergarten through fifth grade, most of whom are paid by community members.
